Threshold Studies was created by Lucija Miloslavić, Master of Theology, certified astrologer, writer, and lifelong student of symbolism, myth, and transformation.
Through Threshold Studies, I explore the meeting place between spirituality, psychology, ritual, and meaning.
My work brings together academic study, symbolic interpretation, and personal practice in search of deeper understanding.
A Study of Thresholds
A threshold is a space between certainty and mystery.
Threshold Studies emerged from a fascination with these transitional states — the symbolic, emotional, psychological, and spiritual moments that shape human experience.
The project draws inspiration from astrology, tarot, archetypal psychology, ritual traditions, mythology, contemplative practices, and symbolic philosophy, while remaining grounded in both academic study and personal exploration.
Background & Perspective
My background in theology deeply shaped the way I approach spirituality, symbolism, and ritual.
As a Master of Theology, I developed a strong interest in sacred narratives, religious symbolism, mysticism, and the psychological dimensions of belief and transformation.
Alongside academic study, I later pursued astrology professionally and became a certified astrologer, integrating symbolic interpretation with a more reflective and psychologically oriented approach.
Rather than viewing astrology and tarot as systems of rigid prediction, I approach them as symbolic frameworks that can help illuminate patterns, cycles, inner conflicts, transitional periods, and personal meaning.
